About

So who am I…Chip I’ve been in construction all my life, owned a restoration company from my father’s reign to me in New York City for 40 plus years. I then moved to the midwest with my wife to be close to our family. My history has been in preservation and restoration. We were involved with all the final interior finishes of our projects. Back in those days we used an air brush for a lot of our detail trim lacquers. Fast forward to cabinet refinishing and painting has been an easy transition, especially with the newer water borne coatings available today! Attention to details especially in the prep, makes or breaks the final outcome! Today... coating equipment has made leaps and bounds as well. I’m looking forward in sharing the craft to the next generation, so this craft remains in the industry going forward.
